Who we are looking for:
First, we are looking for people who are serious about raiding. We may have a casual raiding schedule, but we aren't casual about raiding. We don't accept people who waste our time, waste their time, aren't focused, and come to raid ignorant about the encounters. If you want to be successful here, you will have to manage your time, effort and resources wisely.
What this means is that during off time you are following theorycraft threads on websites appropriate to your class. You should know how to spec and gem for the current tier of progression, you should be able to pull off your rotations without having to look at buttons as your focus should be on your positioning and dbm timers.
Second, mistakes happen, especially when learning a new encounter. We may start the learning process with a broken strategy, or with the wrong comp, but everyone of us are committed to a better next attempt. This means you know how to look at combat logs, know how to identify your own mistakes, and have a level head to be able to share what you learn with the guild. If you are the type of person who can't admit mistakes but react defensively when raid leaders ask you questions, or unable to learn from others, or if we get the impression you raid for gear and not progression - you will not pass initiation here.
Third, we don't tolerate jerks. We are strong believers that clashes of personality can ruin a raid's focus. If you can't keep calm or display patience during progression you will not pass initiation here. At the same time, if you are a new initiate, expect criticism, sometimes it may be harsh. If you can adapt, you will succeed here, if you don't, you won't pass initiation.
Fourth, and most importantly, we value people who understand how to work with a team. If you are the type of person who contributes whether it be in material or ideas, comes min maxed and doesn't require hand holding, we really want you to be successful here. Strategy ideas, respecs for progression, min maxing food buffs, etc. - small details no matter how seemingly trivial can make or break successful learning attempts. Progression raiding is a team effort and 10 minds work better than just 1.
About Us:
We only raid 2-3 nights a week, therefore we don't like to waste time - but more importantly, we don't like to waste your time.
We raid at 8:00pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with a completely optional Sunday or Monday if all raiders agree progression calls for an extra day. Invites start around 7:45pm, so be online and on time and ready to go.
As a new member you will go through a 2-3 week trial period during which you are expected to show up at every raid, whether or not you are included in the raid. Poor attendance during your initiation will be taken as an indicator of future attendance; which unless you have a good explanation will reflect negatively on your application.
Anyone whose attendance rate is below 80% (shows up for less than 2 of 3 raids a week) is not guaranteed a raid spot. We have no formal rules to determine who gets a raid spot or not, however we reserve spots for the best performers. We balance our raids between what classes we need to get a boss down and a player's previous raid attendance rate. The lower your rate of attendance, higher the likelihood you will be sat out. We also actively recruit new players to promote competition and meritocracy, so also in that respect raid spots are not guaranteed.
Thanks for reading!

Post another with www.pingtest.net/ . Using the Los Angeles data center and use the forum URL options available on the test site to post your results. The results should look like this.
Do you have a working mic, are you mic shy?
Why Riot?:
If you arena what is your average arena rating?
How do you prepare for a new encounter? What online resources do you use besides Tankspot to prep yourself for raid night?
Link your most recent logs showing your DPS/HPS on a few fights?
What mods do you use? Why do you use these mods?
The guild is working on downing a new boss, you have 90% attendance, then all of a sudden the raid leader cuts you from the raid because he wants to try out a certain raid composition. How would you react?
What do you do to prevent yourself from dying to mechanics like Void Zones, Brain Links, or Legion Flame? And take this question very seriously. Many of the hardest encounters in this game require you to stick to your rotation while keeping mobile. "LOL I DUNNO I MOVE OUT OF THEM" is not an answer.
Post a picture of your UI (even better, post a pic of your UI with recount showing your DPS/Heal meter). Give us a brief explanation of your UI, do you set up your UI so that it makes it easier for you to notice encounter debuffs, or void zones, or fire?
Once you are finished filling out this application, if you are tagged as an initiate member of Riot, please go to the next section below and read the sticky in the Request Forum Membership section, and post a request.
