RIOT Application:
Name: Andrew
RL Age: 24
Class and Spec, Are you willing to change specs for specific fights?: Holy Paladin(Healer). Protection OS. yes willing too but not as experienced.
Professions, why did you choose these professions?:Blacksmithing, Tailoring. Usually people in raids are cloth/plate geared so I like helping with gear. Plus it makes good money.
Armory Link of your main toon and your lvl 90 alt toons:
us.battle.net/wow/en/character/dunemaul/Cronolin/simple
Previous Raiding Experience, please be very detailed: I wasn't around as much during cata and the guild I was in kept me as an extra also they never made it to heroic until mists came out. I have 4 bosses down on MSV 10man Norm. That is my only experience so far aside of LFR which is everything.
Previous Guilds (why did you leave?):EndGame(Echo Isles), left because they refused to expand for more raid groups, also had no social aspect players were hardly on unless it was raid night. E N I G M A(Echo Isles). Administration during raids and plan for determining loot was terrible in my opinion.
Do you know any current Riot members that would vouche for you?: No, I am new to this realm.
Availability (7:30pm - 11:59pm Tues/Weds/Thurs), can you make all of these days and times? If need be can you make additional days and times with sufficient notice[during progression for example]: If you are referring to server time then yes I am available during those days and hours. Additional days it depends on what life has going on but occasionally I can make it.
Rough description of your system[CPU/RAM/Graphics Card]:
Intel Core i7-3820 Quad Core CPU 3.60GHz overclocked to 3.9GHz
16GB DDR3 RAM
Nvidia GTX 660Ti Graphics card.

Do you have a working mic, are you mic shy? Yes I have a mic and no I am not mic shy.
Why Riot?: Looking for a well organized team-based guild with a lot of potential and I heard you guys are that.
If you arena what is your average arena rating? I rarely arena. Only do it if I have spare time.
How do you prepare for a new encounter? What online resources do you use besides Tankspot to prep yourself for raid night? YouTube for video guides on bosses. Healer guides for boss fights to determine whether the fight is about longevity and consistency or strong heals in bursts.
Link your most recent logs showing your DPS/HPS on a few fights?

What mods do you use? Why do you use these mods? Dominos, DBM, Recount, Healbot, X-Perl Unitframes, IceHUD, Grid, Bagnon, Postal, Healer Mana Watch. Creates space on my screen for more visibility during raids.
The guild is working on downing a new boss, you have 90% attendance, then all of a sudden the raid leader cuts you from the raid because he wants to try out a certain raid composition. How would you react? I am a healer so only reason I would be cut is if the raid leader wants to go 1 less healer which I am fine with as long as I am not the one to be cut everytime the boss is fought and I am given an opportunity. Other than that whatever helps the raid I am game.
What do you do to prevent yourself from dying to mechanics like Void Zones, Brain Links, or Legion Flame? And take this question very seriously. Many of the hardest encounters in this game require you to stick to your rotation while keeping mobile. "LOL I DUNNO I MOVE OUT OF THEM" is not an answer. Well from my experiences during mist most of the fights are just being where you are supposed to be, not standing in stupid. stack when needed and focus heals when necessary. Basic things. I know what spells I can use while moving and maintain good heals.
Post a picture of your UI (even better, post a pic of your UI with recount showing your DPS/Heal meter). Give us a brief explanation of your UI, do you set up your UI so that it makes it easier for you to notice encounter debuffs, or void zones, or fire?
